I'm here from the future. I came back to the game after years and I am currently trying to get from level 0 to 30 in this nightwave in 2 days before it resets, and every time a "complete 15 missions" challenge pops up I want to kms (in warframe). Everything you predicted is exactly how it is for me. I don't mind, and actually enjoy, running around doing different oddjobs around the game, but whenever that one pops up it's like, welp time to just put on a youtube video and burn capture missions for 15 minutes. I was wondering why it was like this. It's awful.

It would be amazing if they would write a book series for Warfame similar to how the Halo books have been written.

I get that duviri is supposed to be new player friendly but I wish they would give the option to mod weapons and frames that you dont have yourself instead of forcing you into the prebuilts

His 4 spawns sand cats, you need sand cats because they contribute to revive meter, you will need that cause you're going to pretty much get oneshot all the time unless you neve go out of his 2 (which is kinda stoopid to do for 1 hour straight).

Pretty sure the hate is just because people don't know the augment exists, which is fair because they could have deleted Caliban and most of us wouldn't know. People don't pay attention to bad frames and when you have to ride a k drive indoors she is very bad.

self proclaimed #1 yareli main, the only bad things about yareli are that the K drive isn't moddable, and we can't get on and off of it (the new augment should just be baked in imo - we should be able to just jump off the K drive when we need to and get the best of both worlds) and for whatever reason they let her do cold damage but no cold effects. otherwise people really just hate yareli because they hate their own skill issues with K drives.

Think Voruna is perfectly on A tier. I mean just to list the pros with her: * Has strong melee both in terms of attacks as well as crit/heavy efficiency buffs. * Potentially one of the fastest frames you can use with the 1st passive + ability *Has one of if not the best status procs, as she can practically inflict all the elements AT THE SAME TIME *Is immune to enemy status effects via 3rd passive *Can act as a stealth frame given she can go invisible *Got practically unlimited energy via the synergy of the 2nd and 3rd abilities *Is super fun to use across big maps with lots of enemies via her 4th ability, which can be used endlessly against weaker mobs via augment mod *Is kinda sexy Any reason to give her a lower rating than A?

I really wish they would change this psudo Exalted weapons and just let me mod them individuly. Its so fustrating to sacrifice a slot of my arsenal just to enhance1 ability. it ruined atlas and khora high level gameplay for me

Adaptation doesn't stack with merulina damge reduction but you still get adaptation stacks when meruliyis hit, so it only works when merulina dies and the enemies attack you directly, also blue archon shards specially defense ones make merulina tankier

I just wished warframe early game have a more difficult take, and the overall difficulty be more evenly distributed.

Ran into this after playing the New War and I'm so sad none of this was actually relevant since there is so little content in New war that let us use any of it. I'm not saying this video was bad, quite the opposite, it is an excellent guide to getting up to "Good" it was the expansion that let us down.

About the qol for builds, for me should be like drastically increases the presets we can have for weapons and warframes, only 3 is just not enough anymore And also and that WILL REQUIRE A LOT OF INPUT FROM THE PLAYER at first, but you can tag/label pre sets to types off missions, so when you select a mission it shows you a list of the related presets for you to choose before starting the mission

As a release Yareli main, I am so happy to see how much better shes gotten since release. Once upon a time ago, she was basically just a gag but she’s genuinely super fun to play

Skipped Yareli completely because of the stupid mini game quest. Never looked back.

After further testing and formas on Yareli I can safely say that she is still lackluster. The biggest issue is there is no real synergy in her abilities and she just feels clunky to use. Although I respect the work, you've had to put a helminth with an augment and two corrosive shards just to make her "work". Several Warframes do better while having a synergistic kit and not requiring Helminth or archon shards just to be functionnal. Her Loyal Merulina augment is just a mandatory mod to compensate the lack of mobility of K-drive that should be in the base kit (and K-drive itself should not be so clunky). Speaking about "clunky" again, Riptide has splendid visuals but the performances are not in adequation. It is "fine", that's all that it is. You can present her as a "weapon platform" Warframe but even then, there is ton of competition. I've tried to not put Primed Sure Footed just for one mission but the game quickly became a ground POV simulator. It seems that when you get used to interruption resistance too much you can't live without it... My general impression on Yareli is that her concept was fundamentaly uninspired. It can't be solved with bunch of augments : the issue is in the concept, more than in the numbers.

The issue with yareli is shes an annoyance to get and theres other frames that are as good if not better at what she does, so why use her over them? She's fine, she's just an annoyance to get.

The Overframe tier lists would benefit from adding a drop-down menu to select rankings from past Warframe updates. This would allow players to see frame metas evolve over time rather than just the cumulative list. It could provide useful context on strengths and weaknesses for both new and returning players, while preserving the historical record in a more accessible way.

Merulina Gaurdian needs to be a sea snare augment, NOT a merulina augment

I don't play much these days, so take this with a grain of salt, but the Yareli hate probably comes from the way casual Warframe players engage with Warframes they don't play. A lot of people will see that a frame isn't particularly great for a while and just write them off entirely without ever playing them, and then carry whatever opinion they have of them into the future regardless of changes and buffs. This works the inverse as well, where some people will see that a frame is particularly strong for a while and just always assume the frame is strong unless a notable nerf happens. I think even DE does this as well, seeing as they refuse to rework Chroma despite his kit practically screaming for an update.
